I hope everyone has had a good Xmas and are keeping safe.
We have considered the options for returning to football as planned on 4th January but given that everyone is being advised to work from home if possible and schools are not returning as planned, we have decided to delay the restart of training.
We have a duty of care to our employees, volunteers and members and by returning to quickly would be putting everyone at risk.
We will review the situation on Tuesday evening at our monthly committee meeting and provide a further update.
As the direct debit process has already started for January, we are too late to change this month’s fees, but all fees for February will be reduced by 50% provisionally and will be changed again if required.
We still do not know if LMA is open for community use in Tier 4 and trying to fit teams at Bayview for non-contact distanced training will be a challenge.
A further update will be provided on Tuesday evening.
