Yesterday we had the privilege of delivering some festive cheer.
EFFC, EFCFC, Methilhill Strollers, Arden House and Leven Rotary were visiting some residents with our hampers filled with festive goodies.
Ideally, we would have liked to invite everybody to Bayview for Xmas lunch, but this year that was not possible, so instead we made doorstep deliveries.
Sponsored by the SPFL trust and some of our brilliant local businesses, the hampers were filled with some Christmas treats as well as everyday essentials to help our residents who may be at higher risk throughout the current restrictions in place.
It was very fulfilling visiting round the community. Despite the restrictions in place and many of our residents being isolated, they were all in good spirits. There were some dodgy jokes, some quick-witted quips and nearly a few tears.
A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to be involved.
And a massive thank you to our Local Businesses for supporting a great initiative.
