TIER 4 UPDATE 22/12/20

22/12/2020

As we are moving into Tier 4 on Boxing Day, this changes the way we can train.

In tier 4, guidance is non contact training for all age groups and no matches.

We are currently in discussions with team coaches, and the majority of the 7/9/11 aside teams will continue to train.  Training will consist of non contact drills and fitness with no "end of training games".  The consensus for the 4/5 aside teams, is that with the current numbers in the teams, and the difficulty of ensuring the kids remain non contact would be impractical.

I have contacted Levenmouth Acadamy to find out it they will be re-opening for community activities after the holidays and will update as soon as possible.

If you are making the decision not to return to training after the holidays until the restirctions have eased, please let your team secretary know.

We have received guidance from the SYFA

"Level Four Restrictions

The First Minister announced on Saturday that the whole of mainland Scotland will be placed in level 4 for at least three weeks, meaning it will be 16th January at the earliest before any matches (including friendlies) can resume.

The Return to Football Hub has the details of what is permitted within each of the levels: please ensure to familiarise yourselves with the information on there. As before, the only permitted football activity within level 4 is non-contact training within your own local authority. This applies to all age groups. The guidance on permitted activity within each level can be found here."

I will update you all as soon as final decisions regarding training in the new year have been made. If necessary we will adjust/pause the direct debits to compensate for any changes.  This may not be done in time for the January payment but will be adjusted for February.

Apologies for lack of further info, with holidays etc, information is taking slightly longer to filter through.  Will update asap.

Have a Safe and wonderful Xmas. x
