EFCFC - Keeping you updated 01/07/20

01/07/2020

We are moving forward with our preparations for returning.

Today we joined 30 other clubs in a meeting with the SFA to discuss the way forward, what barriers we are finding and what support we require. Next Wednesday we have another meeting to ensure Facilities are prepared properly for your return.

On Thursday we are having a meeting with a coach representative from each age group to ensure we are all working from the same guidelines and that all members are given consideration before we return to football.

We have asked the SFA to find out about guidance for our adult teams and for clarification on the rules for children and adults training at the same facilities.

We are working with FFTC to ensure Bayview is ready and cleaning has commenced, we have also purchased cleaning materials for the teams to use and additional PPE.  Communication will start with Fife Council over the next few days for additional facilities if we require them.

The only guidance we have had so far is that some form of formal training can commence from 13th July, we are still waiting to find out if some of the restrictions on the amount of people that can meet in a group will be lifted.

WHAT WE NEED OUR PARENTS TO DO: -

We need all our parents to ensure that they are registered on the MCH APP.  There will be administration changes and additions to our code of conducts. There will also be COVID related declarations which will require to be read and actioned.  We will also post onto MCH any information for your child and you to follow when training commences.

Please download the APP and turn on notifications – There will be updates posted as we get them, and this will be the best place to get the most up to date information for your return to training.
