The Scottish Government and sportscotland have provided updated guidance following the First Minister’s lockdown announcement on Monday.

While there is still some scope for under 12s to participate in non-contact group activity, the SYFA strongly recommends that clubs and parents give serious consideration to whether or not such activity is necessary, especially given the pre-existing break for small-sided teams. Should clubs decide to run any sessions for under 12s during this lockdown, it is essential that they adhere to all protocols as detailed within the updated guidance.
