Coaching opportunities at East Fife Community Football Club

Following on from three years of consistent growth in both numbers of teams & community programmes the club are ready to take the next step in achieving their vision of being one of the top community clubs in Scotland.

The club have a well-established pathway and strategic connection with the professional game via East Fife Football Club.

Player development is high on the club’s agenda and the roles identified will be key in player development as we aim to provide the best possible opportunities for all our players.

The roles are also seen as having a major benefit to our coaches through continuous personal development and input from the appointed people.

The roles are:

·        Head Coach – 4/5 aside teams – preferred qualification Children’s Licence

·        Head coach transition - 7 aside, 9 aside and first year 11 aside – preferred qualification ‘C’ Licence

·        Head Coach 11 aside teams beyond the first year. - preferred qualification ‘B’ Licence

The above roles will predominately be in the evenings and Saturday or Sunday Morning in line with team training and matches for 10 hours per week.  Job roles

There is also an opportunity for a community coach working alongside our Community and Development manager/officer, initially for 10 hours per week, with more hours added as the community programs increase.   The roles will involve working within schools and performance/community programs in the surrounding area of Levenmouth.  Hours during day must include Mon 1030-1130, Tues 1030-1130, Wed 1345-1445 & Fri 1300-1400.  This role could be amalgamated with one on the other roles available

All roles will be on a self-employed basis and you will require to complete a PVG prior to any work being carried out.
