Update 04/08/20

04/08/2020

Just a quick update to advise we have not yet had any further guidance from the SYFA on changes to training practices.  As a reminder, what we have to work with at the moment.  Sessions should be:-

Max 10 kids and 2 officials per group - 1 session per week for 40-50 mins

Kids arriving should know who their coach is for the evening and go directly to that coach.

Parents - please, we need you to accept your invitation to training on MCH so coaches know how many kids to expect and can plan for 1, 2 or 3 groups and age reps can advise you which group your child will be in.

Groups should enter the stadium 1 at a time.

Once in groups – kids and officials cannot move between groups.  They can move stations.  i.e. if you have 2 groups you can have drills on one pitch and small sided games on another.  Half way through the whole group (inc Coach) can swap pitches. Cloths and cleaning materials are available to wipe down goals etc.

There is a one way system in and around Bayview and there is a designated toilet for each group.

At the end of each session groups should leave 1 at a time by the exit and new groups waiting to enter should be on the entrance side of the road.

Parents, unless coaching/officiating a session, are not permitted within the stadium area, and should observe current government guidance with regards to social distancing whilst attending training.

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone involved and we also realise that not everyone agrees with the current situation, but this is what we have been given to work with and we need to do our best to adhere to the guidelines.

Thank you for your cooperation
