Welcoming New Roles at EFCFC

13/10/2019

It is all change at EFCFC as we say goodbye to Andy Payne and wish him the all the best for his future career with Dundee United, we are currently in the process of recruiting to fill his huge football boots.

With Andy moving on, we have taken the opportunity to review the roles we have in the club and designate coaches to cover specific areas of development for both the players and the club.

We are pleased to announce that Alan Lowe has accepted the first of the new positions and from today is starting in his new role as Head Community Coach.  Alan has been with us for a while in a self-employed capacity and has shown that he has a passion for getting the community active.  After initial meetings, plans are under way to introduce new community classes, and activities to involve the whole family.

We have also had positive discussions with the SFA and Fife Elite regarding School of Football, creative player and Player development.

Shaun Byrne (Dundee FC) will take over as Creative Player coach and an announcement will follow shortly on School of Football and Player Development once final discussions have been had.
